Hundreds of suspects arrested as raids in illegal brew dens intensify

More than 250 people were arrested in different parts of the country over the weekend in the ongoing crackdown on illicit alcohol.

In Mombasa County, 42 people were arrested in Likoni sub-county and will be arraigned in court today. Police said they had also destroyed 760 litres of kangara in the raids conducted in the sprawling settlements on Saturday afternoon.
