Soldier killed at barrack by colleague

There was panic at the Moi Air Base in Eastleigh, Nairobi when one soldier was shot dead and another one seriously wounded in what officials termed as an accident.

The officials, who did not want to be named, said the shooting happened inside the barracks' armoury on Wednesday night. "The soldiers were changing and servicing their guns when they accidentally discharged bullets. It is unfortunate one of them died while the second one is hospitalised," said an officer.
