Last Monday, a sick video was uploaded online. The video, from Tanzania, shows a house help sexually molesting a boy who is barely seven. The girl in the video couldn’t be more than 12 years old.
Whoever posted the video justified his actions, claiming he wanted all parents to know exactly what goes on behind their backs, when they are at work. One, however, fails to understand how the person who shot the video could endure five minutes of children having sex.
But can we really blame the children? Showbiz news from Tanzania is usually about which artiste has released nude pictures, and which celebrity was caught having sex in the toilet. It is like Tanzania celebrities are in a competition to see who releases better nude pictures than the other.
Nightdress
After that video, former Miss Tanzania Wema Sepatu released pictures of her, in action with her boyfriend, musician Diamond. Next came nude pictures of Diamond with Rachel and Linah. Even before the dust settled, television personality, Husna attended a party wearing a very light, see through nightdress, with nothing underneath. The pictures were soon all over Tanzania newspapers.
Then came Tanzania playboy Peter Rupia who posted several pictures on Facebook. Pictures of him and several naked women in a party he had hosted in his palatial home. Even before Rupia’s naked women pictures had gone around East Africa, respected Tanzanian actress Miriam Jolwa, though heavily pregnant, went on national television and said, “Its only that I am pregnant, but I swear, I must have a baby with singer Bushoke. He must make me pregnant,” Jolwa told a shocked studio audience.
Art
Then to close the week, another actress, Zena Muhamed Shilole unleashed her nude pictures, professionally taken, which she claimed weren’t nude pictures, but ‘pieces of art’.
Come weekend, another Tanzania artiste, Lulu Mathias Semagongo was thrown out of her hotel after she was caught having sex in the loos.
Come Tuesday and outgoing beauty queen, Miss Tabata Faiza Ally, also released pictures, in the act, with her boyfriend.
On Wednesday, Baby Joseph Madaha, a well known actress during a performance, got into the stage with a top so tight, and low cut, that any movement thrust her breasts out. Not that she cared.
On Thursday, Wema Sepatu performed in a dress so tight, that when she moved, her assets were laid bare, for all to see, and of course, her bottom ended up in the newspaper. And so it goes.
