Hunger by Wazito FC to join the top flight league was manifest, Wednesday Morning, after they humiliated visiting Kakamega’s Green Commandos FC 6-0 at Eastland’s Camp Toyoyo in a match that kicked off Wednesday Morning.

The win affirmed Wazito's top spot, reassuring fans their hope of joining Kenya's top League, the SportPesa Premier League was just around the corner.

A double by Victor Ndinga in the 16th and 25th minutes of the encounter, plus another pair by Derrick Onyango who scored his first in the half-hour mark and added another in the 46th minute were good enough to have the log leaders go into the half-time with bragging rights, leading 4-0.

Upon return, Wilson Anekeya and Joe Waithira ensured that the goals were beyond reach for the Kakamega-based side, which had travelled more than 300 kilometres only to be soaked with goals in Nairobi.

This was a second win for the side, which now currently have 69 points after they added the three points into their tally in the win.

Last weekend, Wazito walloped Fortune Sacco 2-0 with Victor Ndinya and Derrick Onyango placing their names on the scoresheet.
