Debate on our forests should go beyond the money from timber

This week the government lifted the logging ban, allowing for the harvesting of some trees in our forests.

Away from the heated debate, this development has triggered a question in my mind - just how valuable is a tree? Well, trees indeed have multiple values, but my mind has been focusing on a singular one, their priceless value.
