Delays in acquisition of land where water and sanitation projects are being put up by the gov.

Delays in the acquisition of land where various water and sanitation projects are being put up by the government in Gatundu south within Kiambu county may derail their completion. Cabinet secretary for water, sanitation, and irrigation Sicily Kariuki say the national lands commission is yet to acquire all the required land for the various projects.

The plan is expected to increase access to water supply and improve sanitation through the construction of wastewater disposal systems within villages. The CS spoke when she conducted an inspection tour of projects within the area.
