Boost for Raila as Nyanza declares it will back him, OKA principals vow to back its own candidate

Nyanza leaders have today unanimously thrown their weight behind ODM leader Raila Odinga's 2022 presidential bid, this being his fifth stab at the presidency. Five out of six governors with the exception of Migori, were here together with senators, members of parliament and members of county assemblies to show their support for the ODM leader. But even as Raila got the much-needed boost from Nyanza, One Kenya Alliance principal on the other hand vowed not to support anyone outside the alliance for president.
