Planned merger or coalition between Jubilee and ODM parties appears to cause discomforts

There is growing disquiet within the ruling jubilee party over the proposal to merge with the ODM party led by opposition chief Raila Odinga. A section of the party officials led by the party’s deputy secretary-general Joshua Kuttuny instead wants the party to be revamped first and grassroots elections held before embarking on any agreement ahead of 2022. And as Chris Thairu reports, it is not all rosy within the party even as talks continue on the issue.
