Testing times: Challenges face grade 4 assessment as exams enter final week

The grade four assessment that has been ongoing since March 8th enters its final week, yet questions abound on the cost and mode of administering the exams. According to the task force report on the implementation of the CBC, the exams will account for 20 per cent of the score in grade six. Some parents claim the assessment is too costly and inconveniencing. And as KTN's Shadrack mitty now reports, even teachers say uploading and downloading assessment tools and outcomes to the KNEC portal has become a major challenge.
