Tabitha Muigai tells an inquest court that Tecra transferred millions of shillings to Omar Lali

And still in courts, Keroche breweries CEO and mother to the late Tecra Muigai told an inquest court that her daughter transferred lots of money to her elderly boyfriend Omar Lali’s. She told the court sitting at Milimani that there were lots of money transfers made by her deceased daughter to Lali through bank statements as well as Mpesa transactions. The mother who was giving her testimony told the court that her daughter cut links with her family members and decided to live with her boyfriend in Lamu. She said that her family was worried with their relationship due to the advanced age of Omar Lali compared to her daughter. Lali was held in police custody shortly after the sudden death of Tecra but was later released.
