Samburu elders vow to end FGM by 2021

Meanwhile, as efforts to end female genital mutilation by 2022 continue following a presidential directive, a section of elders from Samburu community will converge at Kisima area, early 2021, for a ceremony to end FGM. This was established after the elders met for dialogue in preparation for the event next year, where they have extended their invitation to the president. George maringa has more.
