Kericho meat lovers decry over filthy environment surrounding the slaughterhouse

Meat lovers in Kericho are outraged over the filthy and disgusting environment around the town's slaughterhouse. The abattoir is shockingly sandwiched between Kericho dumpsite and sewerage treatment plant. The road to the slaughterhouse is literally blocked by the mounting garbage which flows into the compound whenever it rains. The surrounding bushes are a breeding ground for flies, stray cats, dogs and other scavengers.
