school-going children living along the border of Baringo, Samburu and Laikipia can now breathe a sigh of relief following the upgrading of a day school to a boarding school to allow them to stay in school even during holidays. in the past, insecurity and drought forced many families living there to migrate to safer places and this meant that many children would drop out of schools.
