Race for Msambweni: Independent candidates for Msambweni by-election present nomination papers

15th October, 2020

The race for Msambweni parliamentary seat slated for 15th December has formally kicked off with independent candidates presenting their nomination papers today. Tomorrow, it will be the turn of party candidates to hand over their nomination papers to the independent electoral and boundaries commission. Among those who presented their papers today was Feisal Bader, an ally of deputy president William Ruto. And as our coast based reporter Tobias Chanji reports, the by election will provide political bigwigs with a platform to flex their muscles.
