Fees Headache: Private schools lament over Magoha's order of not sending away learners due to fees

Kenya private schools association says non-payment of school fees by parents and guardians remains the biggest threat to the survival of many schools. Chief executive officer Peter Ndoro, says out of 11,000 private schools that existed before covid 19, 200 have closed shop. Meanwhile, the Kenya union of post-primary education teachers, KUPPET, now wants the education cabinet secretary to recall all learners to ensure their safety and consistent monitoring of their development by their teachers.
