Kenya's candidate to lead the World Trade Organization (WTO), Amina Mohamed, said on Thursday (July 16) that the body is "in urgent need of reform".
She told journalists in Geneva: "There is widespread acknowledgment among WTO members that the WTO is in urgent need of reform."
Mohamed, 58, Kenyan sport and culture minister, was ambassador to the WTO in 2005 and the first woman to chair the WTO's, General Council.
