Kirinyaga governor ann Mumbi Waiguru received another political blow after members of county assembly rejected her memorandum on budget. The mcas voted to reject the memorandum which she had forwarded to the assembly 13 days ago. Two third of the MCA's rejected the governor's memorandum in a tension-filled afternoon session. Only eight mcas supported her aggravating a political standoff between Kirinyaga governor and Kirinyaga county assembly the MCA's led by majority leader Kamau Murango said that they rejected her memorandum since it denied them funds allocated forward development.murango also added that the county chief was unhappy with sublimenterly budget since it removed Ksh 90 million the governor had requested to buy furniture for his office and official residence.
