Eldoret based rift valley textiles otherwise known as Rivatex is set to open the first textile factory in Nyanza. Business entry in the area is set to revive cotton growing and provide employment opportunities. It will set its first factory at Boya, in Nyanndo, Kisumu county. Senior officials from the firm toured the proposed 2.5 acres site for the new factory where they held discussions with area Mp, Jared Okello, and local leaders.
