The reopening of schools and all learning institutions will depend largely on the recommendations by COVID-19 National Education Response Committee. 

However, even as the nine?member committee embarks on its mandate, education Cabinet Secretary, Professor George Magoha is being accused of bias for excluding teachers’ unions from the committee led by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development Chairperson, Dr Sarah Ruto.
