Stakeholders meet to seek lasting solution to Mandera education crisis amid mass exodus of teachers

A stakeholders meeting on education  is currently taking place in Mandera with leaders seeking a  long term solution to the education crisis in north eastern Kenya. The teacher’s service commission recently withdrew teachers from the region citing lack of security but leaders there maintain that the move has crippled education in the region with 100 % transition now a mirage. Director of criminal investigations George Kinoti is among those who are seeking the way forward in north eastern Kenya
