Education cabinet secretary, professor George Magoha, has dissolved the university of Nairobi council and revoked the appointment of prof. Stephen Gitahi Kiama, as vice?chancellor of the institution; consequently appointing professor Isaac Mbeche as acting VC, pending completion of the process of appointing a substantive vice chancellor. And as Shadrack Mitty reports, the  CS says prof. Kiama will continue discharging his duties as deputy VC, human resource and administration at the university.
