KPLC disconnects transformers, vandals cost KPLC sh. 60M last year

The Kenya Power And Lighting Company Has Dismantled Three Power Transformers In Kwa Njenga Area Of Nairobi’s Imara Daima Estate. The Operation Was Out To Disconnect Illegal Power Connections. Disconnection Of Power In The Area Left Hundreds Of Businesses And Residents In The Dark. Kenya Power Is Yet To Make Any Arrests In Connection To The Illegal Connections. For Now, The Transformers Will Be In The Custody Of Kenya Power And Will Be Taken Back Once The Residents Re?Apply For Power Connection Following The Legal Due Process.
