Commuters board trains without trousers, Zebra's let loose on the streets |NEWS IN 90

14th January, 2020

The No Pants Subway Ride is an annual event staged by Improv Everywhere every January in New York City. (The date changes from year to year and is announced in early December.) The mission started as a small prank with seven guys and has grown into an international celebration of silliness, with dozens of cities around the world participating each year.

Zebras are on the loose in La Paz's chaotic streets. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city's snarling traffic, they wave their hooves to help people crossroads and seek to raise awareness amongst drivers to stop at traffic lights and give way to pedestrians.

A 10-year-old girl caused a stir as she refused to go with her mother after a court ruled to hand custody over from her father. The girl has been raised by her father since she was a year old.
