The national transport and safety authority has reported that as from January this year, a total of 3,396 persons have lost lives through road accidents. Noting that this is an increase of 13.4% compared to the same period last year. National transport and safety authority in collaboration with national police service have announced that they have intensified road safety public education campaign to guide road users especially during the festive season.
