Low grade 2015 KCPE candidates shocks the nation with amazing results, sets to join universities

Macharia Mbugua, a KCSE candidate from Kiambaa mixed secondary school in kiambu county is poised to join university after scoring a mean grade of “C” plus.  Mbugua scored 169 marks during the Kenya certificate of primary examinations in 2015.  Four candidates living with physical disabilities scored a mean grade of “A” minus with 127 scoring a mean grade of “C” plus and above.  Education cabinet secretary professor George Magoha said this was clear proof learners with special needs can excel in examinations if given a good environment.
