Magoha releases 2019 KCSE results with half of students failing to attain direct entry to university

More than half of the candidates who sat for the 2019 Kenya certificate of secondary education failed to attain the university mean grade of C plus. According to data provided by the Kenya national examinations council, 125,746 candidates will join university out of 667,222 who sat for the exam. This is an improvement from 90,377 in 2018.
