Embattled child welfare society of Kenya sends workers on a two months compulsory leave

Barely a week after the high court suspended new bank accounts run by the child welfare society of Kenya, an altercation ensued at the organization's offices when employees opposed the return of CEO Irene Mureithi. Mureithi had been sent on compulsory leave, after the organization made news over embezzlement of funds and claims of abuse of children under its care.
