The 9th African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) summit was held in Nairobi. the summit themed ‘a transformed ACP, committed to multilateralism’ was graced by presidents and heads of governments from the 79 nations that make up the ACP. Kenya took over the chairmanship of the organization and will be responsible for spearheading reforms of the ACP, for the next three years. President Uhuru Kenyatta said that under his stewardship, Kenya will seek to promote and protect the interests of the group to put the ACP nations on the global radar, when it comes to matters development in their economies.
