More than 30 families in Buregei village, Rongai, in the county of Nakuru have been forced to seek refuge at Cesarina girls secondary school, after their homes were submerged in flood waters. In the county of Kisumu, residents have taken it upon themselves to come to the aid of flood victims by donating basic items.
