Police in Kajiado Town have rearrested Kirruti Taraya who was seen on a viral video assaulting a colleague at a supermarket in Kajiado town.

Taraya is said to have assaulted Sharon Atieno while on duty at Eastmatt Supermarket on Tuesday where he was arrested  and detained before he was released on Wednesday after Sharon withdrew the case.

However the CCTV footage went viral on social media which created public uproar hence his rearresting today on Saturday evening

He is being detained in Kajiado police station waiting to be arraigned in Kajiadi law Court on Monday.
