Residents in Nakuru claim some dams are leaking thus posing dangers to those living downstream

Members Of The National Assembly Committee On Environment And Natural Resources Have Called For The Balancing Of Foreign Investors And The Welfare Of Locals. Speaking While Touring The Sonjanmi Farm Which Houses Three Dams And 45 Greenhouses, The Members Cautioned Dams Proprietors To Carry Out Risk Assessment And All Precautionary Measures Before Embarking On Such Projects. The Fact Finding Tour Follows A Dispute Between The Farm Management And Locals Who Claimed Some Of The Dams Were Leaking And Thus Posed Dangers To Those Living Downstream.
