A week after KTN News exclusively highlighted the story of two sisters who can’t stop eating soap, medics in Eldoret have now established that the two sisters from Nandi county with a rare appetite for soap are suffering from severe iron deficiency. The two were taken through tests at an Eldoret hospital. The two have a pica disorder that involves eating items that are not thought of as food and that do not contain significant nutritional value.
