While all eyes were on Kenyan Olympian Eliud Kipchoge making athletics history in Austria by finishing the marathon under two minutes, a small group of runners back home were doing their bit for the environment.
Dozens ran through Nairobi's Karura Forest Reserve to mark twenty years since Nobel Laureate Wangari Maathai was beaten and whipped by guards during a protest against the sale of public land there.
