13 people dead in  Awasi road accident
13 people have died and several others injured in a road accident involving an Eldoret Express bus and a truck at Awasi along Kisumu-Kericho highway.
Those who sustained injuries were rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral Hospital in Kisumu.
Emotions ran high as survivors of the night road accident recounted their ordeal to the media at the Referral Hospital.
 
Blow to NASA over Ksh4.1B split
Opposition co-principals, Mudavadi, Kalonzo, and Wetangula have suffered a major setback in their battle for a share of Sh4.1 allocated to ODM.
Registrar of political parties Ann Nderitu noted that the coalition agreement submitted ahead of the 2017 election did not contain a clause on the sharing of funds.
According to Ms. Nderitu, the document only contained how the partners would have shared power if they formed the government.
 
Bank claims over Sh1 billion from Weston Hotel
KCB Bank has joined the ownership dispute over the controversial land dispute on which Weston Hotel stands.
The Bank wants to recover over Sh1 billion it claims it is owed by the hotel associated with DP Ruto.
KCB will now be involved in a case where KCAA has sued Weston and the National land Commission seeking to recover a 1.77-acre parcel of land.?
