UHURU-RAILA POWERFUL PROPOSALS.
The President shall appoint and may dismiss all members of the cabinet including the Prime Minister.
The PM shall be appointed by the National Assembly. The individual will also be the leader of the largest political party or coalition.
The Cabinet shall consist of the PM, the deputy PM and not fewer than 15 and not more than 20 ministers.
DIVISION OF REVENUE BILL
The bill seeks to equitably divide revenue between counties and the National Government.
The bill did not go through followings disagreements between the Senate and National Assembly.
The National Assembly wanted counties allocated Sh310 billion while the Senate insisted on Sh335 billion.
Governors are now seeking the intervention of the Supreme Court.
DP ATTACKS TUJU
DP William Ruto has accused Jubilee SG Raphael Tuju of betraying the ruling coalition by working with the Opposition.
"So our democracy is so liberal that the SG of the ruling party has become the chief strategist of the opposition! Maajabu!" Ruto tweeted.
In response, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria said Jubilee died with the handshake.?
