Last week’s move by immediate former Kakamega senator bonny Khalwale to decamp from ford Kenya to Jubilee party might not have come as a surprise, after all, going by his past history in politics. He is a man who has approached every general election using a new political party and ended up on the winning side except in 2017 when he lost his gubernatorial bid for Kakamega County to Wycliffe Oparanya. However, one would ask, why is he such a risk taker? Or maybe what informs his political nomadism?
