Kenyan government plans to employ more teachers

The government plans to employ more teachers to meet the shortfall of nearly one hundred thousand teachers. Education cabinet secretary, Professor George Magoha says financial inadequacy may slow down the process. Meanwhile, the Teachers Service Commission and the ministry of education maintain that they will not recall the 164 teachers interdicted for disrupting the training of teachers over the implementation of the competency based curriculum.
