Former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero and 8 of his co-accused have each been released on an 8 million shilling cash bail or an alternative bond of 20 million shillings. Kidero who was arrested last Friday is facing corruption charges alongside 15 other suspects in a 58 million shilling scandal during his tenure as Nairobi governor. All the 15 suspects were ordered to deposit their travel documents with the courts.
