President Uhuru Kenyatta’s latest visit to Beijing, China, for the belt and road initiative got tongues wagging about Kenya’s debt obligations especially to the Chinese. It is an open secret that Kenya has borrowed heavily from China under the jubilee regime with only Angola and Ethiopia owing china more across the continent in the same period.
