President Uhuru Kenyatta has extended the term of the building bridges task?force jointly co?picked with opposition leader Raila Odinga in March last year by another five months. The extension announced through a gazette notice late last week is meant to allow the team more time to finalize their work and file a report with Odinga and Kenyatta by latest 23rd of October. But is this extension realistic and could it derail work of the taskforce given that 2022 campaigns are already on top gear.
