In 2008 President Mwai Kibaki launched Vision 2030 as a vehicle for accelerating the transformation of Kenya into a middle?income nation. Part of the ambitious program was to create six thematic cities to spur economic growth in Kenya. And exactly a decade to the deadline some are now casting doubt on the realization of the dream.
