Elgeyo Marakwet County Governor Alex Tolgos has continued his veiled attacks on Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, this time accusing the Senate Majority Leader of not helping his county in any way.

According to Governor Tolgos, Murkomen is so concentrated on playing what he says is ‘dirty’ national politics, forgetting to help the Elgeyo Marakwet people who voted for him to represent them in the Senate.

Tolgos isn’t happy on how the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) has continued to allocate his county funds, he says, are inadequate compared to other counties, taking issue with Murkomen who said the funds are enough for the county.

The governor, who is of the opinion that it is better for the county to be disbanded if CRA cannot increase its financial share from the National Government, said Murkomen has been abusing AU Special envoy Raila Odinga, only to be rendered redundant after the Uhuru-Raila handshake.
