When 33?year?old Abdullahi Boru was diagnosed with kidney failure in June 2018, it meant that he had to relocate to Nairobi to undergo dialysis leaving his family in Marsabit. The conflict and inter?tribal clashes experienced in Marsabit county have choked development and by extension healthcare among other sectors. However, residents can now breathe a sigh of relief with services brought closer home even as the county resolved to foster peace and development in its second annual dialogue forum.
