The government has today rolled out the pilot digital registration of Kenyans and foreigners living in the country. The exercise is being piloted in 15 counties and will run for the next 30 days before it spreads across the entire country. The government intends to produce a digital huduma card, which will capture a wealth of an individual’s biodata thus replacing the current identification card.
