The row pitting Kenya and Somalia over maritime territorial borders intensifies with the latter responding to Kenya’s claims that it has not auctioned the disputed gas and oil blocks in the Indian ocean.

The response came a day after Kenya recalled its ambassador to Somalia Lukas Tumbo in what it called for consultation purposes while at the same time asking Somalia's ambassador to Kenya Mahamud Ahmed Nur to go back home for consultation over the issue.
