Section of ODM leaders have expressed dismay over sentiments expressed by Deputy President

10th February, 2019

A section of ODM Leaders have expressed dismay over sentiments expressed by Deputy President William Ruto in London last week.

Siaya Senator James Orengo insists that Kenyans can have referendum, census and election in three years if goodwill prevails.

Orengo also faulted the DP over “those who don’t want to admit that have lost an election” remark saying the problem has been electoral malpractices. The same sentiments were echoed by PAC chair Opiyo Wandayi and Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi.

But speaking at a different forum, Nandi senator Samson Cherargey opposed the referendum calls saying the country has way too important issues to address that constant politicking.
