With the Country currently being in a dry season, a section of farmers in Laikipia county are smiling all the way to the bank after a continued bumper harvest. All this, thanks to modern government sponsored water pans which according to the National Irrigation Board (NIB) will be constructed free of charge to farmers across the country, so as to realize food security, which is among the government’s big four agenda.
