The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has cleared eleven candidates to face?off in the April 5 by-election in Embakasi south constituency.  Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his ford Kenya counterpart called upon contestants to conduct peaceful election campaigns.  The two leaders who are supporting wiper party candidate Julius Mawathe promised their ODM counterparts a bruising battle and expressed optimism of recapturing the seat.
