Today, is World Cancer Day 2019 a day when the World Health Organization as well aas global leaders and communities, WHO and global embrace the important actions needed to stop cancer from  being one of the leading causes of mortality globally.  World Cancer Day is a compelling reminder of the necessity for:

    ·healthy lifestyle habits

·widely available and accurate information on the early signs and symptoms

    of cancer

    ·early and quality cancer diagnosis

·accessible quality treatment, including affordable health care.

This year's theme is  “I am and I will”, the 2019 World Cancer Day asks  that we all, individually and collectively, resolve to end the injustice of preventable suffering from cancer as part of our commitment for universal health coverage and the larger push to leave no one behind.
