A building under construction along General Mathenge drive in Westlands has caught fire.

The Promenade building, which is not occupied, caught fire at around noon Saturday, with the cause of it still unknown.

Response teams have been activated.

According to the Kenya Red Cross the fire has been contained, with no casualty reported. Assessment will be concluded once the smoke settles.
